Chapter 6

The Truth

I was in complete shock. I couldnt move. Onii-chan kept kissing me. I felt so embarrassed,

but happy. But, why... why now? He finally pulled away and I took a breather. " W-Why

now? I-I dont get it? " I asked. Naruto laughed. " I was hoping that you wouldnt fall in

love with me. " He said. I crossed my arms. " W-Whats that supposed to mean... " I said. "

Im not your real brother.. " Naruto mumbled. " W-what.. what do you mean? " I asked. He

sighed. " Im actually your childhood friend. I used to be your neighbor. After your

parents died you were sent to an orphanage. You had a twin brother, Hajime. You and him

snuck out of the orphanage together and ended up in central park. I was there by

coincidence. Your brother went to get something leaving you sitting on the park bench.

Thats when horror struck. Your brother was running towards you. He didnt notice the car

coming. Right in front of your eyes, he was killed. You were traumatized ever since. Once

you turned 8, you ran away again to the park where you and Hajime once were. You would sit

for hours staring out into space on that park bench. Then, those bullies came and would

always bother you. Everyone was concerned. Thats when we decided to erase your memory.

They told me to take the place of your brother. I accepted not knowing the consequences.

My parents had divorced when the decision was decided. So I had to provide for you. I

never expected to fall in love with you, but I couldnt let my selfish emotions interfere.

I never could tell you the truth, or else you would suffer the horrible truth... " He

explained. I couldnt believe what I had just heard, yet I remember it so clearly. It was

so painful. So much agony and sorrow. How could I have been so selfish these past years,

with Naruto. " Im sorry!! " I said. " I was such an idiot... " I mumbled. " Shhh shhh, its

alright.. " Naruto whispered. I looked up at him. " I-I love you, Naruto-k-un. " I said.

He laughed. " I love you too. I'll always be by your side... " He embraced me " No matter

what happens... I will keep my promise... and protect you... " I smiled. Everyone clapped

and cried with joy. I felt a little out of place  and awkward. Sakura stomped her feet. "

What the hell!!?? Your supposed to be with me not this slut! " Sakura yelled. I clenched

Naruto's tux. Sakura started to walk towards us. " Listen here missy. You are not getting

away with this. He is mine so grow up and find someone else. " Sakura shouted. Naruto

stood there speechless. " I never belonged to you... " Naruto mumbled. " Excuse me? "

Sakura said. " Im Hinata's. " Naruto said and kissed me. Im so happy! Sakura got mad and

raised her hand. She was going to hit me!! Huh? " *sniff* fine... you can have him.. "

Sakura cried. She threw her bouquet on the ground and walked out of the church. I smiled.

I hope we can stay like this forever and ever...... and ever...


Epilogue


" Hinata come. " Naruto said. He led me to the tombstone. I placed my hand on it and bent

down. " Hello Onii-chan... " I said. Naruto smiled. " Hey Hajime... its been a while.. "

He said. Tears welled up in my eyes. " I wish we could go back to the days we spent

together... onii-chan... " I mumbled. Naruto hugged me from behind. " I bet he is smiling

down on us.. like he always did. " Naruto whispered. " Yeah... His smile.. it helped me

through the day... his smile was the greatest happiness of all. The feeling of love and

joy. " I said. " Yeah, just like in our childhood years... " Naruto mumbled.


5 years has passed. Hinata graduated along with Ayumi and Sasuke. Now, Ayumi and Sasuke

are dating and live together in a small apartment. Hinata started a cooking class and

suprisingly Ayumi is in it too. They are both doing it together. Maybe even going into

starting a cafe together with Ayumi. Naruto proposed to Hinata. Soon getting married to

him and having a son. In her brother's memory, she names her son, Hajime, meaning

beginning.... of a happy life. Hinata... Naruto... and their son Hajime..... together

forever.......and ever......
