Chapter 13
Her Heart's Desire

 I wonder. Naruto, if you didn't have such a huge burden of running this company. What

would you be like? Would you be stubborn? Would you always be happy? Would you laugh all

the time? Would you feel loved? Would you be alone? All of the questions of what he used

to be are always left unanswered, because I know nothing of what he was. But now... I don't

think its that important to know ones past. " Hinata. You're spacing out!" Minato yelled. I

shook my head violently to come back to reality. I smiled at Minato. " Sorry about that."

I said. Naruto stared at me. I tilted my head. " Oh. Is there something on my face? " I

asked. Naruto stayed quiet. He walked slowly towards me. "Now that I think about it. Your

eye has been twitching. Does it irritate? Maybe an eyelash fell in. " Naruto explained as

he explored my face with his hand. Naruto has such big and warm hands. " Ah. It's nothing,

I'll just splash some water in my eye. " I said nervously backing away a bit. " No No.

Allow me. " Naruto insisted. I stopped and allowed him to. " Open your eye wider. " Naruto

whispered. I did as he said. He gently came closer and blew in my right eye gently.From my

left eye, I could see his eyes glowing in the light. He looked at me. Every time. Every

better? " Naruto asked. He smiled gently as he cupped my face and squeezed my cheek. "

Hinata? You in there? " He laughed. Dammit Naruto stop teasing me. Why? Why are you so

cruel to me. Making me fall in love with you all over again. Stop it. Just stop it. I can't

stand it. Minato and Naruto stared at me. Naruto immediately stopped laughing. " Hinata..

are you okay? " Minato asked pulling my arm. I gently touched my cheek and looked at my

hand. Tears. I didn't even know it. My tears kept streaming down, but I was just standing

there shocked with my mouth open. Naruto became worried. " What's wrong, Hinata? Why are

you crying? " He asked. I stared at him and closed my mouth. " Its none of your concern." I

said. I turned around and walked away from Minato and Naruto. Suddenly, it began to rain

hard. Everyone ran covering their faces with their clothes. Naruto and Minato stood at the

spot I left them. Their car came by to pick them up. Naruto insisted on going after me but

the driver explained I would be okay. Which I wasn't. My eyes widened as Naruto actually

got in the car with Minato and left me. "Thanks Naruto. Now I finally know the answer. You

don't love me. " I mumbled as I walked in the rain. The sky was gray. I was cold and alone.

I just kept crying. Its funny. It was perfect weather a moment ago. Now it's just dark and

humid. I looked around. " Where am I? " I asked myself. I wiped my tears. It was still

raining and I was soaked. I checked my phone. It was.... 2:45!? Oh no. I have to help

prepare for the lunch. Ugh I wont be able to take a shower in time. " Great. I have to

call... " I mumbled. I don't want to call Naruto. Oh crap. I have no choice. I have to

call......HIM. I dialed the number and waited for an answer. " Hello? " the voice asked. "

Uh. S-Sasuke-kun. It's Hinata, Naruto's maid. I'm uh... stuck in the rain. Could you

please pick me up and take me back to Naruto's mansion? It will be 3:30 by then. " I

begged. I heard Sasuke chuckle. I pouted. " Not funny." I said. " Why didn't you call your

"master"? " Sasuke asked annoyingly. I paused. " Um. " I mumbled. " Ohhh. I get it. Don't

worry. I understand. I'm coming now. Where are you? " Sasuke said. I smiled. " Um, East of

the Konoha Shopping Center. " I said. " I'll be there in 5 minutes. Bye " Sasuke said. "

Wait! Um. I would like to stay on the phone if you don't mind." I said. I didn't want to be

alone. "Sure thing. Wait. Do you have an umbrella or something?" Sasuke asked. " Haha. I'm

in a sun dress and I'm soaked. I'm standing under a tree trying to keep warm. So no. I have

no umbrella. " I said. My voice was shaking. I was still crying. " Hinata. What happened? "

He asked. I sighed. I can't hold this in forever. Somehow I trust Sasuke. I don't know why

because I barely know him but still. He reminds me of someone I used to know. I explained

to him about everything. My feelings, why I was there, and everything else. After I

finished, Sasuke did not say a thing. He kept quiet. Finally, he arrived. He came out of

the car with an umbrella and blanket. It was still pouring. He wrapped the blanket around

me and pulled me close under the umbrella as we ran towards the car. We got in and Sasuke

told the driver to go. I was shaking. " T-T-T-Thank you Sasuke. " I whispered. He smiled. "

Everything's alright now. " He said. "First, we are going to my mansion. You are to take a

shower. I have some clothes prepared for you. " Sasuke said. I nodded. " Thank you. " I

smiled. " Driver hurry up. We don't have much time. We are going to be late. " Sasuke

commanded. We arrived at the mansion. Sasuke took my hand and led me out the car. He

covered my face as we ran into the mansion. " It's 3. Hurry, Hinata. " Sasuke said. I

nodded and went upstairs to take a shower. The mansion was beautiful. It was lavender and

silver white outside and golden painted inside. It was far more beautiful than Naruto's

mansion, to be honest. The bath was prepared for me. I walked in and gently folded my

clothes as I took them off. I washed myself slowly. It was so nice being in the hot water.

I could hear the rain drops gently hit the window. It was calming. I finished taking a bath

and I wrapped a towel around me. I walked into Sasuke's bedroom, where he was buttoning up

his shirt. He turned to face me. His eyes widened and he turned away fast. I blushed as I

covered myself, even though I still had the towel around me I felt it was still exposing. "

I apologize. " Sasuke said. " Its fine. " I replied. I laughed as Sasuke struggled to

button up the shirt. I walked over to him. " Here, let me help you. " I said. I buttoned up

his shirt gently. I patted his shoulders and flicked off pieces of dust. Sasuke stared at

me with his dark black eyes. I smiled. "Done. You look handsome, Sasuke. " I giggled and

gave him a warm smile. " I'm happy. Thank you for your help Sasuke-kun. " I said. Sasuke

smiled back and led me to the bed. " Here are your clothes. " He said. My eyes widened. "

Oh my! It's beautiful. Haha My favorite colors! " I giggled and smiled. Sasuke laughed and

left the room for me to change. I finished zippering it up. It was indeed a beautiful

dress. I gently pulled back my hair and put in a bow. I quickly put some light lip gloss

and mascara on just for touch-ups. I walked out of the room and down the staircase.

Sasuke's eyes widened. " You look absolutely beautiful, Hinata. " He said. I laughed. "Why

Thank you, my lord. " I smiled and took his hand. The maids gave us umbrellas and coats. We

got into the car. It was already 3:25. " Ehhh. What's the big deal if we are late. "

Sasuke said. I nodded. Sasuke looked at me. " What? " I asked. Sasuke sighed. " Naruto does

not know what he's missing. " He said. I giggled. Sasuke is sweet. We get along well too.

I'm happy I called him. " I hope we continue to be good friends, Sasuke. " I said. Sasuke

smiled. " I hope so too. " He replied. The car came to a stop. We arrived at the mansion.

We walked in the mansion and were welcomed by formally dressed Haru, Chizuko, Fuko, Aiya,

Itachi,Minato, and ..... Naruto. " Welcome. " They all said. Chizuko took our coats. Her

eyes widened. " Hinata? " Chizuko asked. I smiled. " Shhh.. " I whispered. The maids smiled

as we walked by. Itachi led us to the dining room. Sakura and her parents were already

there waiting to eat. Naruto sat down as did the rest of us. The maids got the food and set

it on the table. We began to eat. Naruto looked absolutely handsome. He was perfect. " So,

Naruto. When is the wedding? " Sakura's father asked. " Well. My apologies for the delays.

The wedding is next week. " Naruto said. My eyes widened. Why so soon? Why...? Sasuke

looked at me. " Are. You. Okay? " He mouthed. I paused and nodded. He gave me a stupid

look. I smiled slightly and shook my head. " Eh-hem!" Naruto coughed, purposely. " Oh. I am

sorry. " I said. " Sasuke. Who is this girl? " Naruto asked. Sasuke looked at me. I got up

from my seat. " My apologies, Mr. Uzumaki. My name is Hinata Hyuga. It is a pleasure to

meet you. " I bowed. Naruto's eyes widened. I looked up at Naruto and then sat down. Sakura

glared at me. " Ptt. What. Is she soon to be Mrs. Uchiha? " Sakura said annoyingly. "

Depends. " Sasuke replied. " On what? " Sakura asked. " Why do you care? " Sasuke asked. "

I don't. It's a simple question. I need to know. What if she is just a poor girl whose

plotting to destroy your life and take your money. " Sakura said. " She is not like that. "

Sasuke said. Sakura laughed. " Sure... Everyone has a dark side. " Sakura said. " Yes,

true. Its so sad, Sakura. You dont even have a good side. You are dark, spoiled, and

impudent. " Sasuke said angrily. Sakura glared at him. " Enough" Naruto said. Sasuke

continued eating as did Sakura. I shifted awkwardly in my seat. " What the hell just

happened... " I mumbled.
