Chapter 30
The Warning

-----SAKURA POV (SAKURA IS NARRATING)------
Note: "She" is the Sakura in the memory

"Where am I?" I mumbled. I looked up. I held out my hand to hold what looked to be a star. "What is

this?" It wasn't a star, it was... a light orb. The dimension was full of them. How did I get here?

I tried to remember what happened before but my head started to hurt."Sakura...you disappointed

me." a voice whispered. I gasped. "What?" I gasped. "H-Huh?" I mumbled. The pain worsened.

"Agghhh!" I groaned in pain. Remember! Remember something dammit! I closed my eyes and tried to

search for some kind of reminiscence in my mind. Suddenly, the pounding in my head stopped. I

opened my eyes. Immediately, I knew where I was, it was my house. I went inside and made my way into

the room. The door was closed, but somehow I went right through it. Maybe, I’m experiencing my own

memory? I looked to the other side of the room, I saw myself. She was pacing around the room.

What’s wrong? Why do I look so worried?  Brrrring! Her phone rang. She picked it up quickly,

“Hello?” She said. Her eyes turned from bright green to dark. She looked…afraid. I inched closer to

hear the other end of the conversation.  “Yes... I’m sorry, Mr. Uzumaki.” My eyes widened. She

hung up the phone and rushed outside to the car. I followed her to a hotel in Konoha City. She made

her way to room 304. I stood next to her, anxiously. What exactly happened… this night? Her

fingers shook as she slowly knocked on the door. A man in black opened it and brought her inside. I

followed right behind her, and stood next to her as she sat in a chair in front of Mr. Uzumaki. He

had his legs crossed on a lounge chair. The room was dimly lit; his men in black were positioned

all around the room. “Sakura…you disappointed me.” He said. She looked at him, eyes of fear. “I’m

sorry, Mr. Uzumaki. I-I couldn’t do it.” She said. Mr. Uzumaki took a sip of his tea, “Did you

think I wouldn’t notice?” He was angry.  She looked up at him briefly, and then quickly looked

away. Mr. Uzumaki paused. He got up and crouched down in front of her.  “Look at me.” He demanded.

She didn’t dare look at him; she firmly cast her eyes down clenching her fist. “LOOK AT ME!” He

yelled as he grabbed her chin. He turned her to him. She looked at him, she shook. “You’ve crossed

me, Sakura. You could have had freedom. You didn’t have to pretend anymore, if you just listened to

my orders. You wouldn’t have to be little miss perfect, but I won’t forgive you, Sakura.” He said.

She began to cry. “Oh, don’t cry. There is no need for that.” He said as he wiped her tears. I

knew for a fact his “pity” was just sadistic satisfaction.  He paused and looked at her. He

caressed her hair, softly. “We both know…he will never love you back.” He said. Her eyes widened

and tears began streaming down. He smiled. “You would ruin him, Sakura. The things you’ve done, all

your life. Listening to what others tell you to do, just like a dog. You are garbage. You will

never be with him. You aren’t good enough for him. You will never be good enough.”  Mr. Uzumaki

grinned deviously. She shook her head. “No! No! You’re lying! I’m a good person!”  She screamed.

Mr. Uzumaki grabbed both her wrists. “Stop lying to yourself. You think Hinata, Naruto and all your

little “friends” think that to. No… they are just pitying you.” He said. She cried even more. He

let go of her wrists, she attempted to escape out the door, but his men grabbed her.  Mr. Uzumaki

walked over to her. “You are done…since you won’t cooperate, I’ll just have to use force.  Once

you’re gone, Sasuke, and your family will be done for. They’ll go bankrupt and the Uzumaki Family

will rise again. All of you friends will suffer, and it’ll be all your fault. Your selfishness

caused this, Sakura. There is no going back once you’ve given yourself to darkness.” He explained.

He snapped his fingers.  One of his men held her down as the other beat her.  I cried. I tried to

look away, but I had to bear with it! I need to know…what happened to me. One of the men stopped

and threw a hard punch at her head. She collapsed to the ground, head bleeding. Mr. Uzumaki grabbed

his collar. “Why did you stop there? He asked angrily. The man gripped Mr. Uzumaki’s arm.“I refuse

to kill her for such a trivial matter. It would be at your disadvantage if she died.” He

explained. Mr. Uzumaki’s face softened. He sighed. “Call the ambulance, let’s go before the manager

comes up.” Mr. Uzumaki left with his men. I stared at my almost lifeless body as the memory faded.

I was back in the dimension of light orbs. I plopped to my knees and cried. “No! Oh God no…” I

cried. I shook my head. “NO.” I wiped my tears and clenched my fist. “I have to warn them!” I said

to myself. I got up.  “Hinata! Naruto! Somebody! Listen to me!” I screamed. “Sasuke!! S-Sas…uke…”

my voice softened into a weak cry. Oh god… Sasuke. I cried even more. The light orbs in the

dimension began to disappear into thin air, as the doubt in my heart had increased. Everything was

turning to black. I screamed in agony as my head began to hurt. “He will never love you back” “Give

up” “You are garbage” “You don’t deserve him” “No one needs you” “Disappear” “Just die already”

“You are not important” I shook my head violently. All of these voices… Stop! Stop I beg of you!

“STOP!” I screamed but the voices continued to echo louder and louder.  “You will never be good

enough” “He won’t notice you” “You are invisible” I started to believe it. The dimension was soon

to be complete darkness. Once I’ve touched it, there was no going back. I was doused into the

sweet, temptation of this darkness. I’m stuck. I can never come back. The last few orbs began to

fade. “Sakura…” a voice whispered. My eyes widened. The light orbs turned brighter. “S-Sasuke?” I

mumbled. “Please….come back. I beg of you. Wake up… come on. Look at me dammit!” He cried. I

covered my face. “I’m sorry, Sasuke. I can’t go back. I’m not ready….. to face you yet…” I said.

The light orbs surrounded me. I reached out and held one close to my heart. “Please… somehow help

them.” I whispered to it. The light orbs dissipated and I fell to the floor. My body felt so weak.

I closed my eyes and fell into what seemed to be a deep, eternal sleep.
